A specification is only worth what the testing behind it is worth. Each lot is checked against the contract specification before release, and the certificate of analysis travels with the shipment rather than following it by email a week later.

Residue and microbiological testing is placed with accredited third-party laboratories, because a buyer’s own auditors will want a report they can verify independently of us. Where a destination market sets its own limits, with EU maximum residue levels the strictest most of our buyers face, we test against those limits, not against a general standard.
